Dreamy Wedding at Staple 6 Barn
Dreamy Wedding at Staple 6 Barn
Nestled eight miles south of the quaint town of Clyde, Texas, tucked away in a serene grove of towering oak trees, lies the rustic-chic wedding venue known as Staple 6 Barn. With its warm pine-wood structure, spacious upstairs loft and balcony overlooking the grounds, and the kind of natural charm that sets the stage for truly memorable moments, this barn is the kind of venue that makes a wedding feel like a storybook event.
When Kailey and Justin Seaton tied the knot here, surrounded by their closest friends and family, it felt like everything aligned perfectly: the setting, the mood, the music, and the moment.
The Venue: Where Beauty Meets Simplicity
From the moment guests arrived at the Seaton Wedding at Staple 6 Barn, they were greeted by the whisper of leaves high above and the gentle creak of barn wood that had been lovingly built and maintained over generations. The venue offers about 2,351 square feet of space for gatherings, along with tables and chairs in-house for up to 100 guests.
What sets it apart is the upstairs loft and balcony space: a vantage point that overlooks the main barn floor and the surrounding oak grove. It’s that balcony that became my favorite part of Kailey and Justin’s wedding in a wonderfully unexpected way.

A Ceremony to Remember
Kailey entered the day glowing—not just from the excitement of marrying her love, Justin—but because she knew this venue would hold every moment beautifully. Surrounded by their dearest friends and family, they stood at the altar, the oak trees framing the backdrop, and said their vows in a moment that was intimate yet expansive, personal yet utterly enchanting.
What truly elevated the scene: the live guitar player perched up on the balcony with them. As they danced their first dance together, gentle chords and soft melodies floated through the air, blending with the rustle of leaves and warm Texas light. This unexpected musical touch made their ceremony feel like something out of a film—not just a wedding, but a memory in motion.
The Look: Elegant, Bold, Unforgettable
Kailey stunned in a striking black dress—an unconventional choice that turned heads in the very best way. The dress featured a long, beautifully detailed train that trailed gracefully across the barn floor. Every time she moved, the fabric caught a bit of breeze drifting through the grove; it was dramatic, it was elegant, and it was undeniably her.
Justin looked sharp, his smile wide, his eyes fixed on Kailey, and his continuous jokes making Kailey laugh all night. But for many guests, the image of her standing in the field behind the altar, the train cascading behind her, the guitar melody giving life to the moment—well, that image will linger for years.
Family, Friends & the Feel of Togetherness
One of the most beautiful things about that day at Staple 6 Barn was how clearly you could feel everyone’s hearts in the room (and out under the oak trees). Their closest friends and family had gathered not just to witness a union, but to celebrate it. The venue’s layout helped: the ope barn created a sense of unity (everyone together inside and kids running around outside), and the grove setting brought a feeling of grounded warmth.
The guitar player’s music became a shared experience—guests leaning in, catching the notes, feeling that connection, as though the melody stitched together every conversation, laugh, hug, and toast.
Why Staple 6 Barn Was the Perfect Choice
- Natural beauty + simplicity: With the oak-tree grove surrounding the barn and the wood-toned interior, the venue didn’t need heavy decor—the scene was naturally romantic.
- Flexible spaces: The upstairs loft/balcony for the DJ/band, the ground floor, outdoor areas—this allowed Kailey and Justin to craft a ceremony and reception flow that felt seamless.
- Intimate capacity: With room for around 100 guests, the event still felt close and meaningful—no sprawling crowds, just the people who matter most.
- Charm meets comfort: The barn offers that “rustic wedding” vibe without being rough around the edges. Guests could relax, feel the elegance, and still enjoy the outdoors.
Looking Ahead, Forever After
As the sun dipped lower on their wedding day, the grove of oaks cast long shadows and the barn’s lights glowed soft and warm. Kailey and Justin wandered out onto the patio together, the guitar’s last notes fading, and stood in that moment—the one they’d waited for. They looked at each other, at the gathering of people who loved them, and at the place that held their memory. With a sparkler exit, the golden light shined on their faces and their smiles glowed brighter than the sparklers themselves.
In years to come, when they look back at their wedding, they’ll remember not just the ceremony, the dress, or the music—but the feeling of belonging, of being seen and celebrated. And they’ll remember the magic of a quiet barn just south of Clyde, where two people said yes to forever. Kailey & Justin, thank you for choosing me as your photographer at your wedding at Staple 6 Barn.
