There’s an open field with the hills in the distance that give you that wide-open West Texas feel. There are also a ton of mesquite trees that help block the light if you want a more “woodsy” feel. The easiest way to get to this dreamy spot is to park in the local Buffalo Gap church at 741 Litel Street. Directly to the right, you’ll see the field of beautiful mesquite trees. However, you walk on the trail to the right of the church all the way back, you’ll find the wide open field.
